Electrical Contractors have been using Porta-Mole Boring Systems for over 30 years. Circle R Electric in Fort Worth, Texas, owned by the late Gene Rufner, bought the first Porta-Mole after seeing it in the bed of the salesman's Ford Ranchero. He didn't even start the engine. The salesman unloaded it, parked it in his warehouse and Gene wrote him a check. |

Gean Rufner Porta-Mole Still Runs and Bores Holes TODAY! |
1974 --> TODAY |
New |

Gene's company bored hundreds of installations and saved his company tens of thousands of dollars. This original machine now on display at Carlton International Manufacturing Corps.' offices. It is preserved in it's current useable state with the original 3 H.P. engine. It can still bore holes under paved surfaces at an age over 33 years old. Gene was responsible for giving a new company, which started in ½ of a two-car garage, a big shove forward. |
